Marlia Bosques Martínez
Children & Youth Program Director
Marlia, originally from Aguadilla, discovered her love for agriculture when she began growing her own food in her home garden during high school. Since then, her passion for the land and cultivation has been a constant in her life. With a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences and a master's degree in phytopathology, Marlia continues to expand her knowledge through both formal and informal studies in agricultural education. She is deeply committed to creating a more just and equitable food system for all of Puerto Rico. In her free time, Marlia enjoys growing vegetables and fruits for her family, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing special moments with her loved ones.
