Migdalia is a Las Marías native and has raised three children with her husband Juan. Juan and Migdalia have been farming for years and after meeting Plenitud PR in 2020, they were inspired to transform their farming practices at their farm, Cafe Conuco Finca de Siembra, to follow agroecological principles. Migdalia now enjoys planting vegetables and root crops without the use of chemicals. She joined the Amo mis Abus team in September 2020 and supports produce coordination, food preparation, and the weekly delivery of plates to our elders. Migdalias family and friends would describe her as a fighter, quick-on-her feet, and having a big heart. You can often find her dancing, listening to music, and caring for the elders and community.
